About TexSAW

UT Dallas' Cyber Security Research and Education Center will host the 2nd Annual Texas Security Awareness Week beginning October 30, 2012. TexSAW is a three-day event designed to highlight the importance of cyber security as an emerging technical field and motivate students to specialize in this field of study. The opening day will feature panelists from government and industry as well as UT Dallas faculty. The day will close with a reception and an opportunity to allow students, panelists and faculty to interact on a one-on-one basis.

TexSAW continues with hands-on demonstrations and workshops on Wednesday and a student competition on Thursday.
